Back to School Sewing Ideas
All of these patterns are really easy to sew and most importantly, they are super comfortable and great for playing in.
My daughter, who is 6 years old, picked these as her favorites. All kid approved!
1.Easy Elastic - The Anna Dress
This has been one of my daughter`s favorites for the last couple of years. The elastic neck means she can easily great herself dressed in it - usually feet first instead of over her head. No buttons, zippers or anything tricky. The version with the border is great for showcasing a bright contrasting fabric. You can also add lots of interesting trims like ric-rac and pom poms at the bottom or sleeve hems.
